The recycled content used in our rXPS trays is independently PSV-certified at the 10% level, demonstrating compliance with strict standards for transparency, material quality, and responsible sourcing. Certification for higher recycled content proportions is available on request.
Designed to support upcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) requirements, the kp rXPS range is fully PPWR ready, helping customers prepare for a minimum 10% mandatory recycled content by 2030 and a progressive reduction in the use of virgin plastics. This certification further underlines kp’s commitment to scaling responsibly sourced recycled materials across its product portfolio.

Suitable for a variety of lidding films, kp rXPS MAP trays combine perfectly with our barrier top lidding film – kp FlexiLid^® EH 145 R which is designed for recycling. It’s certified by Interseroh and cyclos-HTP and designed following Ceflex guidelines for D4ACE PE mechanical recycling.

kp rXPS Absorbent is made with up to 50% recycled polystyrene and is our cost-effective, traditional overwrap solution that negates the need for a soaker pad. It is compatible with a wide variety of overwrap films and is optimised for automated wrapping. Lightweight and warm to the touch, it’s available in a wide range of colours and sizes.

kp rXPS trays work perfectly with a variety of overwrap films. They can be combined with our exceptionally strong, easy-to-use kp FlexiStretch® PO overwrap films, some of which have also been certified as recyclable by Interseroh.
