Introducing kp Evolve® Fish Boards, recyclable mono PET boards for VSP fish applications.
kp Evolve® VSP Fish Boards combine a high‑performance mono PET structure with integrated drip‑retention chambers that capture excess moisture to deliver a cleaner, more appealing product presentation.
As recyclable mono PET boards for VSP fish applications, they offer strong vacuum‑skin performance, excellent shelf clarity, and compatibility with established PET recycling systems. This delivers a dependable solution that enhances product quality, supports hygiene across the supply chain, and improves operational efficiency for both processers and retailers.

kp Evolve® Fish Boards, recyclable mono PET boards for VSP fish applications use kp Zapora® advanced retention-chamber geometry to ensure that any released juices are guided away from the product surface and held securely within the board structure. This prevents liquid building up, maintaining an attractive appearance, and reduces the risk of leakage throughout distribution and handling.

Finite element analysis (FEA) is a computer-based software tool used to calculate how objects behave under applied forces. FEA gives a clear picture of how the whole object will resist deformation, bend, or break, when forces are applied in different positions, magnitudes and directions, helping designers improve kp board designs quickly and efficiently without building expensive prototypes.
By selecting the design that best withstands forces, kp can ensure the optimum balance of material weight and strength.
kp Zapora® is also a fully recyclable padless PET board designed to maximise liquid retention. The features in the base of the board, capture and retain liquid from the packed product. kp Zapora® replaces the need for an absorbent pad and adhesive.
kp Evolve® VSP Fish Boards are perfectly designed for high-speed automated packing lines for processed fish. Our dedicated applications engineers are on hand to help facilitate our customer’s transition to this lighter, packaging design.
Replacing recycled content from bottles with recycled content from boards is at the heart of our kp Tray2Tray® programme. This is circularity in action! In 2024 12.5% of our recycled material was from kp Tray2Tray® and the number of boards we recycled increased to one billion.
